Attractive design
With its wood grained base and gently curved cone shape, it resembles something from a Buddhist sanctuary to perfectly blend with your interior décor. It comprises of a base with four rubber feet preventing it from falling, and a PC (polycarbonate) plastic cloudy top for light projection. Unlike most diffusers with its plug at the bottom, the Tao Tronics diffuser has its plug on its side.
Multiple applications
This is not just an aromatherapy diffuser; it’s also a humidifier that emits moisture to the atmosphere to help moisten dry skin. When used with essential oils, the oils’ aromas will also help remove offensive odor, unclog nasal passages and also provide relief from asthma, allergies, and sinusitis.
It is also an air purifier and ionizer which produce negative ions necessary to increase serotonin levels in the brain. This provides relief from depression, stress, and anxiety while boosting energy levels.
Large water tank
As its water tank is large at 300ml, it can run continuously for 8 hours to easily cover 250-450 sq. feet area with your favorite essential oil. This means it can provide a cool, aromatizing and relaxing mist while you sleep at night. It’s better to use pure, filtered or distilled water as ordinary water contains minerals which can clog the unit.
Auto shut-off feature
The diffuser can also be set to run for 1, 3 or 6 hours, and also has a feature to shut off if its reservoir runs dry automatically. Its mist can be set to low or high where oils are used quicker when on the higher mode.
Light system 
The TaoTronics diffuser also has 7 long-life LED lights cascading through the colors blue, cyan, aqua, red, purple, green and yellow. You can choose to have the diffuser project just one color, continuously change colors, project a dim or bright light or even have no lights at all. Many however prefer having the light on as it’s soothing and relaxing.
